*** Team Grading, Player membership and Fill-ins ***

As a "Trial" this season, the "Order of Merit" for Teams and Divisions will be assessed using player's UTRs.
Teams and divisions have been assigned according to the average UTR of the nominated players. Fill-in players during the season must adhere to Order of Merit rules AND team UTR limits.
(Refer to the Amended Rules document and/or consult your Club Delegate.)

*** OTHER REMINDERS ***

ALL players and fill-ins must be Tennis SA registered and have a UTR.
Contact your club Delegate in the first instance if you have any queries.

Match Start Times
M
ake sure matches start on time:
     - 8:30am - get to the venue for hit-up.
     - 8:45am - Start the match. (If you are late, no hit-up).
     - 8:55am - Forfeits can be claimed.

Mandatory UTRs
Tennis Aust / Tennis SA has now made it MANDATORY that every competitive player MUST have a UTR . . . AND have it linked to their Tennis ID. ==> Otherwise you cannot add them to your squad/team in the system.

Tennis SA has "tried" to make this easier through their website with this address:
(
https://www.tennis.com.au/competitiveplay/create-your-cpp )

Heat Policy (Rule 49)
If the Australian Bureau of Meteorology weather forecast for Adelaide at 6:00pm on the day prior to the Match is:
a)  36°C or more, then all 3rd sets are first-to-10 point tie-break sets,
b)  40°C or more, then all Matches are automatically cancelled.
[ NOTE:  Some phone apps don't use the BOM, so don't rely on them. ]

State League or Metro League Div 1
Any player nominated for, or playing in the Tennis South Australia State League competition or division 1 of the Metro League competition or equivalent grade or standard, must play in Division 1 (one).
